Sylvie was born and raised in the Loire Valley of France, where her family owned and maintained a massive estate and large plentiful orchard. They were one of the head houses in the valley and seen favorably in the eyes of all classes. Growing up, Sylvie was treated like any gentlewoman of the era and educated in etiquette and propriety as to the expectations of her family. When of age, she was married off to unite her family with another of equal renown. Like a good girl, she asked no questions, did what she was told, and ultimately lived luxuriously. Things became difficult when she did not immediately conceive, and her husband eventually abandoned her. But, an unhappy marriage was nothing new for the high class and few pitied her. In an effort to stay sane, she hosted lavish parties, drank endlessly, and gambled. Unpaid debts had collectors calling, and her husband paid the price. He was found floating in the Loire river and Sylvie was left a young widow with a black cloud of shame over her head. Cursed. She was forcibly plucked from her home, never to be seen in France again.

ꕥ Personality ꕥ

Sylvie was a product of her parents and how she was raised. Spoiled, but ultimately kind. Oblivious of her privilege, she often came off as snooty or a bitch. She just didn't know any different. However, after marriage, and her subsequent abandonment, her personality shifted. Prone to outbursts of anger and melancholy, she drowned her feelings in drink and gambling. She learned to skulk around and avoid confrontation. She became quite adept at stealing things to help feed her addictions and vices. Since her arrival to TGT, she has yelled a lot, cried an equal amount, and has clawed her way into chains.
